Since leaving Philadelphia in August of 2004, & Mountain Home, AR in 2005, I have been teaching asana & pranayama classes in my flowing yoga style in Little Rock for: 1) The University of Arkansas Medical Sciences campus Fri. 12: 10 pm (actually a Simply Stretch class) & Sat. 9 am 2) Chenal Country Club Fitness Center Mon. 9 am, Tu. 6 pm & Fri. 10 am (to change to 9 am in July) 3) Christ Episcopal Church Scott & Capitol Sts. Mon. 6 pm & Th. 5:30 pm ($5.00 per person) 4) Department of Human Services State of Arkansas 7th & Main Sts. -- Mo. & We. 4:45 pm I’m very interested in offering a children’s yoga class, after teaching yoga stretching at a psych facility for teens with emotional problems, So please contact me by e-mail if interested.

Massage for Couples & the Layperson by True Alisandre, BA, LMT – yoga instructor / massage therapist (870) 405-6464
This fun, interactive seminar is available in your home, office or public location.
Cost: $40 per couple; $20 without partner (4 person min. for workshop to take place – pre-registration recommended. Limit: 10 people)
All human beings have a need for touch, and the bottom line in satisfying this innate need is a caring attitude. This class will teach ways in which we can get in touch with deeper parts of ourselves through breathing, self-touch, & creative movement. We will then learn & practice some proven massage methods for releasing stress, loosening joints, & moving in tune with another’s breath, and accompanying musical sounds. A 15 minute chair massage (no special chair needed) will be presented that has been field tested on thousands of people. Table and floor sessions will also be shared with those attending.
A few of the other areas to be covered include: 3 –Way Neck Stretch, Yoga Spinal twist, Dangling/Floating Arm movements, Release Points from Jin Shin Jyutsu, Reverse Breathing, a Picture of Health visualization, and Non-contact Healing approaches.
Those attending are welcome to e-mail the presenter with any special requests, and they will be incorporated whenever possible. The instructor is open to a spontaneous presentational style to meet the needs of all present in the most fulfilling way.
